Gov. Scott Walker last week signed a bill into law that will increase access to dental care for under served populations, including the elderly and disabled.

Assembly Bill 146 expands the settings where dental hygienists may practice without the presence of a licensed dentist to include nursing homes, community-based residential facilities, adult day cares, adult family homes and community rehabilitation facilities, among other settings.
