WALA’s first ever Spring Regional, “The Quest for Quality: Good Employees Lead to Quality Care!” is coming to you!

Whether you facility is small or large one thing is for sure – the quality of your employees will reflect in the care of your residents. The quality of your employees will reflect in the day to day functions of your facility, and the quality of your employees will be reflected in your regulatory compliance surveys.   • Elizabeth Brunner, RN, NHA, Director of Professional Development and nationally recognized speaker with over 33 years in long term care.
  • Debra Ehlert, NHA, a Senior Housing Consultant with over 15 years of healthcare management experience.
  • Linda Nelson, Vice President of Senior Housing with over twenty years experience in all facets of Assisted Living and Senior Housing facility management.

Please note that in order to keep registration costs low, lunch will not be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch, or to plan to acquire their own lunch (options will be provided within a very short drive).

Schedule for ALL sessions:

  • Registration: 7:30 am - 8:30 am
  • Each session starts at 8:30 am sharp
  • All sessions conclude by 5:00 pm.

Travel:

Please allow sufficient travel time for weather, parking and traffic. We will begin on time at 8:30 am at each session!

Fees:

Includes breaks, networking roster and many useful handouts. Please note that lunch is NOT provided.

No full refunds will be made after April 15, 2005. For cancellations after April 15, a voucher for future WALA educational events will be issued minus a $25 administration fee. Substitutions are OK - just contact WALA.

Accommodations:

You are responsible for your own reservations and costs. If you would like accommodations, please contact the hotel directly.

Directions to each location:

Milwaukee – Mayfair Mall is located at 2500 N. Mayfair Rd, Wauwatosa. Phone number: 414/771-1300. Take I-94 to US-45 N. Follow US-45 N to Hwy 100 N. Follow Hwy 100 N approximately one mile; Mayfair Mall will be on the left. Enter via the theater entrance at the back of the mall, and use the door next to Quality Candy to arrive at the Community Room.

Appleton – Touchmark-Appleton is located at 2601 Touchmark Dr. Phone number: 920-832-9100. Take US-41 N and exit at W. Prospect Ave toward Appleton (exit 136). Go east on W. Prospect Ave for about a half mile. Turn right onto Touchmark Drive and follow it to the left to arrive at the main entrance.

Wausau – Cedar Creek Mall is located at 10101 Market St, Mosinee. Phone number: 715/355-6067. Take I-39/Bus Hwy 51 to exit 185 (toward Rothschild/Wausau). The community room is located at Center Court in the mall.

Madison – The Warner Park Community Room is located at 1625 Northport Dr. Phone number: 608/245-3694. From the interstate, take WI-30 W and follow it as it becomes Aberg Ave. Go through one set of lights and take the next exit on the right to WI-113 N. Follow WI-113 N to the left about two miles and turn left on N Sherman Ave. Take the first right into Warner Park and follow the drive around the baseball field. The Community Center will be the last building on your left.

Eau Claire – Banbury Place is located at 800 Wisconsin St. Phone number: 715/836-6828. From I-94, take highway 53 N to Brackett Ave (Downtown Eau Claire Exit). Left on Brackett Avenue to Farwell St. Right on Farwell St to Wisconsin St. Turn right on Wisconsin St to BANBURY PLACE. The Eau Claire Conference Room is located in Building D02 in the 3rd floor skyway.
