Join WALA at Legislative Day
This WALA Member Exclusive event is an exciting and informative day that allows participants to be advocates for assisted living communities throughout Wisconsin.
Schedule:
9:30am: Registration
Best Western Premier Park Hotel
10:00am - 12:00pm:
We start the day hearing from representatives and WALA's Lobbyist, Forbest McIntosh, provides tips on having successful meetings with Legislators. Attendees will hear about the current issues facing assisted living settings in Wisconsin.
12:00pm - 12:30pm: Lunch
1:00pm - 5:00pm: Meetings at the Capitol
Following lunch, participants will walk to the Capitol to speak with their Legislators and inform them about the issues facing assisted living providers in Wisconsin.
Registration:
There is No Cost to attend Legislative Day, but you must register with WALA by March 24th. This permits us time to schedule meetings with the legislator in your district.
