Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to provide exceptional customer service when greeting guests and visitors and in handling phone calls and inquiries received. The Concierge also coordinates mail in and out of the facility, conducts audits as assigned by department head, sets appointments as assigned by department heads. The Concierge assists other departments with minor clerical duties including word processing, data entry, filing, sending and receiving faxes, and other tasks.
Job Duties:
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
- Greets and directs visitors to the company.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Receives sorts and forwards incoming mail.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services.
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and data entry.
- Maintains community center area including light housekeeping and ensuring coffee bar is in order.
- Assists caregivers on the floor when necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
Hiring Full Time and Part time:
8am- 4pm
4pm- 8pm

Requirements Specific Requirements:
- Must have at least one (1) year’s experience in a clerical position or successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited school or college.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and be knowledgeable with basic computer operating systems.
- Must have a pleasant speaking voice and demeanor.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when the situation warrants such action.
- Must have exceptional ability in dealing tactfully with members of the public, guests and vendors in a positive and professional manner.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the clients served.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
